The Golden State Warriors should be sellers as the upcoming February 6 trade deadline nears, and there are three obvious reasons as to why.

There’s no denying this season has been a tough one for the Golden State Warriors.

It’s not just been their record but more how watchable this team has been.

At times, they’ve put a product on the court that clearly works hard, and it’s shown. Yet, at other times, it’s been tough to watch with many undisciplined shots coming from young first and second-year players.

In the team’s inaugural season in the Chase Center, they may end up with under 25 wins. After five-straight Finals appearances, the lack of dominance has come as a shock to those that bought what was a likely a highly sought after season ticket package.

That said, the Warriors should be already preparing for next season, and as the trade deadline nears, their efforts will reflect that. Already having traded Willie Cauley-Stein, it’s easy to expect Golden State to be sellers.

Let’s dive into three reasons why that’s exactly the mindset they should take in the coming week.
