No other tractions occur, Warriors continue to struggle

My prediction is that the Warriors make more trade prior to the February 6 trade deadline. This year, there doesn’t seem like the activity among contenders is going to be as high as it was in previous seasons.

Teams like Los Angeles and Houston have all their pieces while blockbuster moves like D’Angelo Russell to the Timberwolves or potentially Karl-Anthony Towns to the Warriors will happen this summer.

For now, teams believe in their own abilities, not needing a bench scoring option like Alec Burks. It also doesn’t help that players like Jordan Poole and Jacob Evans III haven’t quite developed like originally planned.

Expect Golden State to continue to struggle. They have a mere ten wins and should be a looking at a top-three pick in the upcoming draft. Even with Stephen Curry’s return slated for March 1, expect Golden State to finish as the 15th-best team in the West.
