4. Oklahoma City Thunder
Next on our list is an unlikely one but an interesting trade nonetheless.
It’s hard to imagine the Warriors would want to part ways with Draymond Green. A former Defensive Player of the Year, Green has been the heart and soul of this franchise for half of a decade.
However, Green’s production has been steadily dropping in each of the last two seasons. The three-time All-Star is reaching the back end of his prime. Because of this, a trade for Steven Adams could be a smart move.
Adams would fit beautifully with the Dubs. He is a very strong presence in the paint and is the ultimate team player. Adams’ wide frame makes him an excellent screen setter. It’s easy to imagine Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson curling off Adams for wide-open 3-pointers.
