3. Minnesota Timberwolves

The Golden State Warriors can return to the top of the league by adding versatile wing defenders such as Robert Covington.

The Dubs thrive off versatility. Their system is created for players of Covington’s build to succeed. There’s a reason Andre Iguodala was so beloved by Warriors fans and Covington be an excellent replacement for Iggy.

This season, Covington is averaging 12.8 points and 6.0 rebounds. His 3-point percentage has dipped but he is still a threat from beyond the arch, drilling 2.3 a game. Covington’s fit with the Dubs isn’t hard to imagine.

Alec Burks may be a talented scorer but he is a small price to pay for a talent like Covington. If this trade was actually available, the Warriors would pull the trigger instantly.
