2. Minnesota Timberwolves

Now it’s time for the heavy hitters. D’Angelo Russell is the Warriors’ most valuable trade asset and he will be featured in each of the next two proposals.

Since the loss of Kevin Durant, the Warriors have been looking to find a suitable replacement at small forward. The three-guard trio of Russell, Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson may not be suited to play together at the same time.

As a result, Andrew Wiggins is a safer option for the Dubs. Trading Russell for Wiggins solves this potential lineup problem for Golden State.

Not to mention, Wiggins is talented in his own right. He began the year on a career-high pace and is now averaging 22.9 points on 44.8 percent shooting from the floor.

The addition of Shabazz Napier helps make this trade more reasonable for the Dubs. Napier is a solid backup point guard option for the Dubs in the deal that sees them trading one of their best guards.

As for the Timberwolves, they land a young All-Star to pair with Karl-Anthony Towns in a last-second effort to become a playoff team before frustrating their fanbase any more.
