1. Detroit Pistons

The Detroit Pistons seem to be dedicated to trading Andre Drummond at the deadline. There is no question that a package involving D’Angelo Russell would be enough for the Pistons to pull the trigger.

Drummond is averaging 17.2 points and 15.7 rebounds and has recorded a double-double in 39 of his 46 games this year. Despite not reaching the All-Star game, Drummond is one of the league’s most impactful big men.

The Warriors would benefit from having a paint presence as strong as Drummond. The inclusion of Markieff Morris makes this deal even more intriguing to the Dubs as he could add some additional depth to the lineup.

Still, the Warriors would be making a mistake if they accepted this trade.

At 23 years of age, Russell has the potential to be a multiple-time All-Star and the future of the franchise. Trading him for Drummond who is entering the latter half of his career would be foolish.
