Alec Burks
There are numerous teams that could use a player like Alec Burks.
On a veteran’s minimum contract, Burks should be one of the premier trade targets for teams seeking bench production. Toronto should be one of those teams, having a lacking second unit while also boasting one of the East’s best starting lineups.
Burks is almost averaging 16 points per game. What’s concerning about Burks is his efficiency, shooting just over 40% from the field. However, he’s also making a career-high 1.7 threes per game on over 36% from deep.
He has been every bit of the player that Golden State needed. Sadly, though, the injury to Curry has set them out contention and has made Burks a prime trade target, one which the Raptors should look into.
If the Warriors can get draft picks for Burks, they need to take their best option and deal the veteran. It’s nothing against Burks as an individual player, but the Warriors need to secure those picks and continue their excellent late-draft selecting.
All three of these trades are something Golden State should look into.
