The Golden State Warriors have four days before the February 6 trade deadline. That said, a few Warriors could certainly be on the trading block.

In all reality, there should only be two players that the Golden State Warriors are currently in talks to deal. Those two are Glenn Robinson and Alec Burks, two players we have proposed a plethora of potential trades for.

D’Angelo Russell has, over the past few months, garnered quite a bit of trade speculation. For the most part, that was just based off reports surfacing from other teams or media’s take on how Russell will fit with the Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson led Warriors.

When it comes down to it, trading Russell could be a huge positive or huge negative. However, trading either Burks or Robinson really has no negative side effects unless those two hold resentment towards Golden State for it.

Both Burks and Robinson have some serious stock after what will likely go down as the best season of each forward’s career. Robinson has double his previous career-high while Burks is notching almost 16 points per game.

After signing with Golden State this offseason, both forwards agreed to the deal with the mindset of coming in and playing for a contender. That’s just not been the case with Curry and Thompson combining for just four games to this point in the season.

With Curry out till March, Thompson’s return still unknown and the Warriors just 11-39, there’s no reason to hang onto valuable assets that are free agents at the end of this season regardless of where they finish the year.

Competent abilities on both sides of the court, an aptitude at shooting from deep and a cheap contract should allure contenders to these two veterans forwards.

That said, hopefully, we see a nice haul for either of them in the coming days.
