3. Detriot Pistons

It’s time for the Detroit Pistons to blow it up once again and pursue a trade involving Andre Drummond. The two-time All-Star is leading the league in rebounds with averages of 17.3 points and 15.7 rebounds a night but isn’t going to benefit the Pistons moving forward in their rebuild.

A player like D’Angelo Russell is much better for the Pistons. The franchise could center their rebuild around Russell and actively look to surround him with more supporting talent.

If the Pistons want Russell, they will have to give up a sizeable package. The inclusion of a 3-point shooting forward in Markieff Morris and a 2021 1st round pick could be enough for the Pistons to pull off this deal.

Morris offers some additional depth for the Warriors in a position of need. Drummond and Morris would complement other frontcourt players like Draymond Green and Eric Paschall nicely.
