2. Minnesota Timberwolves

From the moment the Golden State Warriors acquired D’Angelo Russell, questions about his longterm fit with the team became apparent.

How will Russell play alongside the Warriors other two All-Star guards? Will an undersized lineup of Stephen Curry, Klay Thompson and D-Lo be able to score enough points to balance out their potential inefficiency on defense?

In order to solve this problem before it even begins, the Warriors could trade for Andrew Wiggins. The 6’7″ forward is a much easier fit for the Dubs and has the potential to hit his stride in a different role.

Wiggins entered the league with a massive amount of hype and has had high expectations ever since. Despite averaging nearly 20 points for his career, Wiggins has been dubbed a disappointment.

Perhaps adjusted expectations in Golden State as the team’s third option could revive his young career. Wiggins is currently putting up 22.7 points a game and would thrive as a pure scorer for the Warriors. Throw in a future first-round pick and this is a steal.
