The draft mega deal

This could be a trade the Warriors look at if they’d prefer to draft their talent instead of trade for it. While Robinson does have star potential, the Warriors’ last few lottery picks have resulted in superstar talent.

Taking Robinson out of the equation is a pretty big deal.

Russell is averaging a career-high 24.0 points per game and has been among the best guards in the league this season, also notching over 3.5 triples per game. He is worthy of multiple first-round picks if the Knicks are unwilling to part with Robinson.

Add in Knox, and it brings back at least some return that can immediately take the court. At the same time, Knox could still result in a quality role player. The combination of him with those three assets could pique Golden State’s interest.

With the Knicks still potentially being at the bottom of the league in 2022 and having what should be a top-five pick this upcoming draft, the Warriors would be loaded with draft capital if they were to swing this deal.
