The most realistic deal

Here’s the best of both worlds and what should be the most likely deal.

Michael Robinson and Kevin Knox would both fill the holes and provide depth for Golden State this season and well into the future. The draft pick would likely also become a superstar given how high it’ll likely be.

However, for New York, they get a young guard that is an absolute stud. With Russell, they’ll have their swagger back, and with him under contract for the next three whole seasons, they’ll get time to mold their team around him.

Russell wants a franchise to believe in him. He wants an NBA home, and after having considered New York this summer, it doesn’t seem ridiculous to believe he’d stay in the Big Apple for the long run.

This is a win-win, quite possibly the only win-win of the three proposed trades.
