Likely to be on the roster

Eric Paschall

The Dubs were evidently impressed by Paschall when they gave him a fully guaranteed three-year contract this past offseason, that decision has been vindicated.

Paschall has established himself as one of the best performing rookies and the Warriors best performer this season, averaging an excellent 17 points and 5 rebounds a game.

Having the former Villanova man for essentially a league minimum contract for the next two years is an added bonus for Steve Kerr who has seen a player drafted 41st overall become a rapid success.

Unless another team submits a worldly trade offer, Paschall is locked in to return next year

Jordan Poole

Despite having been viewed as a developmental prospect, Myers selected Poole with the 28th overall pick and despite his struggles thus far, the team is unlikely to cut their losses in such a short space of time.

In addition, Poole may have too much value at this point as a high development wing with a promising shooting stroke. The Warriors will likely not view Poole as untouchable but is definitely safe for the moment

Alen Smailgacic

The Dubs view Smailgacic as a long-term which has been displayed by the Warriors’ willingness to give up a future second-round draft pick to the Pelicans, not to mention the fact that Golden State stashed the young big in the G-League before he became draft eligible.

In addition, Bob Myers gifted Smailgacic a four-year deal, an unusual contract for a second-round draft pick which is a further indication of how high the Warriors are on him.

Although Smailgacic isn’t in untouchable it would take something ridiculous for the young big not to be a Dub next season
