Likely to be on roster continued

Kevon Looney

Looney is pretty open and shut, he took a hometown discount to remain in the Bay area and is on a bargain contract. Despite his recent injury trouble, Looney is a virtual lock to return.

D’Angelo Russell

Whether D’Angelo Russell remains a Warrior for the duration of his four-year contract remains to be seen, but Kerr and the Warriors seem determined to make Russell and Curry work.

Despite having endured an injury-hit start to his Warriors career, Russell has shown potential to be a go-to scorer which included a four-game stretch with 30+ points including a 52 point haul against Minnesota.

Russell’s backcourt partnership with Curry has been delayed but will likely resume once again in 2020-21

Omari Spellman

Trading Damian Jones for the Atlanta big man has proved to be an inspired decision with Spellman going from strength to strength in his sophomore campaign.

The former Villanova man has been a star performer for the Warriors with his rebounding, paint defense and extreme levels of energy all impressing Coach Kerr and the Warriors faithful.

Spellman is a major player in Golden State’s rotation as it stands and having picked up his 2020-21 team option it seems likely Kerr and Myers plan to keep the big man around.

Jacob Evans

Having moved Evans to point guard in the offseason it looked to be an inspired call by Steve Kerr. However, after a promising start, Evans suffered an injury and struggled to get any rhythm and fluidity.

Kerr spoke about the fact Evans had a “hell of a training camp” that indicates he sees potential in the second-year man who does have some untouched upside.

Having already picked up his third-year option the Warriors still have belief Evans can become a solid rotation piece, Evans isn’t untouchable but is it likely he will be a Warrior in 2020-21.
