3. Defense

One of the most exciting aspects of Andrew Wiggins’ game entering the league was his potential as a two-way threat. His athleticism was on full display in high school and college, giving fans hope that he would blossom into a force in the NBA.

Sadly, Wiggins hasn’t become the lockdown defender some had thought he could become. Despite having great physical tools for the defensive end, he has lacked energy and enthusiasm for most of his career.

Wiggins has been in the league for six seasons and has shown little improvement on this end of the floor but if there was ever a place for him to find success it would be with the Golden State Warriors.

The Dubs take pride in being a scrappy defensive team. Playing alongside the likes of Klay Thompson and Draymond Green should put Wiggins in a position to max out his potential on defense.

All the Warriors would need from Wiggins is his versatility. He is quick on his feet and a great jumper, making him capable of defending multiple positions. If he can switch through screens and hold his own, Wiggins will look like an elite defender with the Dubs.
