1. New Environment

As previously mentioned, there may not be a better place for Andrew Wiggins to be than the Golden State Warriors.

Say what you will, but the environment a player is in has a profound impact on their production. Something as simple as a change of scenery and expectations can drastically change the public perception of a player.

For Wiggins, he has spent the entirety of his career in a losing situation with the Minnesota Timberwolves. The franchise consistently failed to surround Wiggins and Karl-Anthony Towns with supporting talent, causing them to miss the postseason nearly every year.

The Warriors believe that Wiggins will take the next step to become a star due to their winning culture. Steve Kerr and the rest of the Warriors staff will do everything they can to maximize Wiggins’ raw potential.

The gap to stardom isn’t too big for Wiggins. If he can smooth out a few wrinkles in his game, specifically regarding his energy level, he can be a very valuable player. The Warriors will push Wiggins to his peak and I’m excited to see where this takes him.
