With D’Angelo Russell in Minnesota, the Golden State Warriors need a few of their young guns to step up in the back half of the season.

The Golden State Warriors are not going ot make the playoffs in 2020.

However, that doesn’t mean that their season is lost. With so much young talent, the Golden State Warriors can develop several players that’ll contribute to their 2020-2021 roster in the coming months.

The past few weeks have been rather crazy for the team that’s been to five straight Finals. For starters, they dealt D’Angelo Russell. That move will either haunt or help them for the next decade.

It goes much further than Russell though.

They lost Willie Cauley-Stein, Glenn Robinson III, Alec Burks, and Russell. All four of those players would contribute around 60 points per game. Trying to replace that type of production is not going to be easy.

They didn’t stop there though. Not quite as impactful were Jacob Evans III and Omari Spellman, two other players they dealt to the Timberwolves. The loss of six players over the few weeks will shift the flow of the team’s offense.

Other players will get a chance at impactful minutes, and here are the three that should step up in wake of all the movement.
