Ky Bowman

The Golden State Warriors signed Ky Bowman and Damion Lee to two-way contracts this past offseason.

On a team that was destined to compete, they were projected to contribute in at least some capacity. Well, with the Warriors being short-handed early in the season, Bowman and Lee were both given ample opportunity to succeed. And, both did just that.

Now, Bowman and Lee are both on the Warriors full-time and looking for their next opportunity to stay with the organization for the long-term future. As for Bowman, he’s averaging 7.0 points per game.

His numbers per 36 minutes look a bit better as he’s averaging 11.5 points, 4.1 rebounds, and 4.9 assists. That’s the type of production that he needs to do per game to finish out the season and hope to backup Stephen Curry on a contending team next year.

Bowman has grown in favor with head coach Steve Kerr by protecting the ball and making the right plays at the right times. He’ll need to continue to do that as the team heads down a discouraging last few months of the season.
