Development

31-year-old Stephen Curry is the Warriors’ veteran leader. Over the team’s last few rosters, Curry hasn’t been one of the older players. Andre Iguodala and Shaun Livingston have combined to be the veteran forces in the locker room throughout their tenure atop the league.

That means with Curry’s being one of the team’s elders that there are quite a good number of young players on this roster. Marquese Chriss, Eric Paschall, Jordan Poole, Ky Bowman, and even Andrew Wiggins are all under 25.

They’ll be looking to make the most of the remainder of the season. Development is a huge reason to watch the Warriors as each will have aspects of their game that need to be improved, and each will also be playing for a spot on next season’s roster.

Fit and efficiency could easily be the two words that Steve Kerr uses to describe those that make the 15-man roster next season, and with a solid young core, it’s likely if they don’t produce much like Jacob Evans III they could be on their way out.
