Andrew Wiggins is going to love playing alongside Stephen Curry and the Golden State Warriors.

As Stephen Curry gears up for his potential return next month, Andrew Wiggins and the Golden State Warriors should be giddy with joy.

The two-time MVP will completely change the dynamic of the team. His prowess as one of the league’s greatest offensive talents of all-time will help bring the Dubs back to a place of happiness rather than the pain they have suffered from all season in his absence.

Before breaking his hand, Curry was averaging just 20.3 points on 24.3 percent shooting. However, these numbers are merely a result of his uncomfortable fit alongside D’Angelo Russell and the fact that he fractured his hand midway through his fourth game.

We have plenty of reasons to assume Curry is still at the height of his playing powers. Whether it be from Instagram videos of him crossing over people in the gym or his statistics over the last few seasons playing in Kevin Durant‘s shadow, we should expect Curry to be at an MVP level soon.

Adding Curry back to the lineup gives the Warriors a reliable pair of shoulders to ride on. The former scoring champion will make the Dubs a potent offense once again and have a direct impact on the rest of the team.

As of now, the Warriors rank in the bottom five of the association for points, 3-pointers made and 3-point percentage each game. This is a shocking fall off from such a dominant offense and Curry’s return will help change the tides.

One player who will benefit the most is Andrew Wiggins. With Curry in the game, Wiggins will be able to relax on the perimeter with fewer expectations and less pressure to score.

Most importantly, Curry’s 3-point shooting will open up lanes to the hoop for Wiggins to do what he does best. Wiggins is finishing 72.7 percent of his attempts within three feet this season and is one of the best slashers in the NBA.

Opening the floor for Wiggins will elevate his game to new levels. It will be a ton of fun to watch Wiggins cut to the hoop with the extra spacing Curry is about to create.
