1. Draymond Green
It’s time to face the truth, Draymond Green has been declining for years now and is in desperate need of a resurgence year.
Father time is undefeated and the minutes are adding up for Green. The former Defensive Player of the Year has competed in five straight NBA Finals and is beginning to feel the toll of his workload.
Over the last two seasons, Green is averaging 7.7 points on 28.6 percent 3-point shooting. His shot has disappeared and he is much less of a threat on offense.
Thankfully, Green is still an above-average defender and is capable of creating plays for his teammates. This will keep him in the rotation for quite some time but at a certain point, his lack of scoring will make it tough to keep Green on the floor.
Last season, opponents had no problem leaving Green open on the perimeter and shrinking the floor. This made life hard for the Warriors and had them fighting an uphill battle at all times.
Heading into the next stage of the dynasty, the Warriors will need to see some signs of life from Green. If he is unable to replicate the magic that made him such a special force, the Dubs are going to be in trouble.
