Big men issues

The Golden State Warriors will likely have a short rotation in their frontcourt again this coming season. Kevon Looney will headline a slew of players that can play the five, but not many are true centers.

The only team in the league with under 15 wins, the Warriors don’t have a dominant big. Instead, they have invested their cap into players like Curry, Thompson, Draymond Green, and Andrew Wiggins.

While they could solve this issue by drafting James Wiseman in the first round, the Warriors may rather have a player like Anthony Edwards. Their draft interest is relatively unknown. However, even with Wiseman, they’ll still be short at the center.

Cousins carries a good bit of liability as re-injury will always be a huge factor.

At the end of the day, he’ll be a cheap option that may have a chance to make a meaningful impact, and there won’t be too many players on the market, especially big men, that could play to his level on a championship-caliber team.
