Giannis Antetokounmpo

The Milwaukee Bucks, a small-market team, are already hearing rumblings that the team’s 2019 MVP, Giannis Antetokounmpo may head elsewhere when his contract expires.

While the Greek Freak has said little on the matter, the Bucks could get an absolute haul if they have any concern with re-signing the superstar forward.

Giannis is currently averaging 29.9 points, 13.6 rebounds, 5.8 rebounds, 1.1 steals and 1.1 blocks per game. He’s just an all-around monster and has even shown an aptitude at shooting from deep, notching 1.5 threes per game on 31.1% from deep.

Overall, Giannis will be eligible for the supermax, giving Milwaukee a leg up in free agency if it comes to that.

However, they could return the top overall pick, if Golden State wins the lottery, a top pick in the 2021 NBA Draft and Andrew Wiggins. That’s really the best Golden State can do without diving into too many future first-round picks. Is it enough?

It’d really depend, but throw in pick swaps, and there’s no reason to think the Bucks would say no if they see the writing on the wall. In reality, only then would they consider trading Giannis.

The trade possibilities are endless, but there three seem like they could be win-win situations for both sides.
