Nothing should get the Golden State Warriors more motivated than the hate and criticism they have been receiving this season.

No one on the Golden State Warriors roster has been safe from criticism this season. People have been praying on the Dubs downfall for years and are relishing in their struggles now.

The league is taking full advantage of the Warriors woes, sending shots every time the opportunity presents itself. There is only so much the Dubs can do to defend themselves when they sit at the bottom of the Western Conference with a 12-47 record.

Draymond Green has taken the most heat. He has underperformed all season long without his star teammates and heard it from Charles Barkley earlier this week following an embarrassing ejection during a game against the Los Angeles Lakers.

“Why doesn’t he talk all the stuff when he got them other boys with him? No, man. He talks all that stuff when he’s got them other boys with him. Now he’s out there and gotta fight for himself and he just don’t wanna play,” Barkley said on TNT.

As much as it hurts to admit, Barkley has a point. Green has not done much to prove himself this season. However, this should act as fuel for Green to come back even stronger next year.

The same goes for Stephen Curry, who has had his love for the game brought into question. Critics are wondering why it has taken Curry over four months to recover from an injury that normally takes only three weeks to heal.

Many assume that Curry simply doesn’t want to play this season. This is a ridiculous claim and deserves no merit.

There is no doubt that Curry and the rest of the Warriors are listening to all of the hate. Next season, with a fully healthy roster, the league better watch out for the second coming of a dynasty.
