NBA Draft 2020: Mock Draft for full lottery
By Tony Pesta
R.J. Hampton was a top prospect coming out of high school but lost a ton of hype by electing to skip college and play overseas. His stock dropped even lower when a hip injury cut his international career short at 15 games.
In this time, Hampton showed us what many had already assumed of his game. He is a smooth ball handler and has no trouble maneuvering around the floor. He is a crafty scorer and has the size the be an elite defender.
However, he has a lot to prove as a shooter and will need to remain healthy over a long period of time. Even so, the San Antonio Spurs will likely jump on the opportunity to draft a player with this much potential at No. 11.
