NBA Draft 2020: Mock Draft for full lottery
By Tony Pesta
The New Orleans Pelicans struck gold last year by winning the Zion Williamson sweepstakes. Now, the Pelicans need to set their eyes on building an empire around their young star.
Williamson has hit the ground running in his rookie season. Meanwhile, Lonzo Ball and Brandon Ingram have had career-years for the Pelicans.
However, it’s clear the franchise is ready to move on from starting point guard, Jrue Holiday, as they already shopped him around at the trade deadline this season.
In order to take the next step, the Pelicans should draft Cole Anthony. The Carolina guard is averaging nearly 20 points a game and would be a great fit alongside the rest of the Pelicans’ young core due to his high offensive production.
