The Golden State Warriors have 45-plus losses and under 15 wins. Their season is all but over, so let’s look ahead to what should be chaotic offseason.

With just 13 wins on the season, the Golden State Warriors, who have technically still been to five straight NBA Finals, will already be looking towards the 2020-2021 season, one which should result in them reclaiming the Western Conference throne.

The Warriors were planning to make a run at a sixth straight Finals appearances, but the early-season injury to Stephen Curry derailed that approach to the season. Curry’s March 1 return date has been postponed, but he’s on course to return in the next few days.

Klay Thompson has also been ruled out for the year. On top of those two, D’Angelo Russell had missed time with injury, hurting the team’s chances to succeed. Now, they’ll bee playing the last few weeks without much purpose, just trying to develop their young talent.

The team has thankfully had a few pleasant surprises. Eric Paschall has played well, Jordan Poole has finally started to hit his stride, and they were able to acquire Andrew Wiggins in a deal also landing them a 2021 first-round pick.

This season is all but over and before we get into the team’s future and next season, we need to look at three moves they should make this coming offseason.
