2. Onyeka Okongwu – USC

USC has jumped to a 21-9 record behind Onyeka Okongwu and he is one player all NBA teams should be watching during the tournament.

Okongwu has mostly been going under the radar but his talent as a post scorer has been taking the NCAA by storm. In 27 games, Okongwu is averaging 16.2 points on 61.4 percent shooting.

Due to his 6’9″ frame and long stretching arms, Onyeka has found much success as a shot blocker. He has shown strong instincts on the defensive end and is rejecting nearly three shots a game.

Like many young players, Okongwu has to prove himself as a shooter. He has a decent mid-range shot but has yet to expand his range to the 3-point line. This will be key to his future in the NBA as spacing has become more and more important.

Okongwu has been steadily moving up the rankings but he can take his stock to the next level in the tournament.
