1. Obi Toppin – Dayton

Obi Toppin may be the most surprising prospect in the NCAA for the last two years. An athletic shot creator with great size, Toppin has led Dayton to a 27-2 record.

He had a breakout season last year but it seems spending another year in college has benefited Toppin. As a sophomore, Toppin has increased his stats in each category, posting 19.8 points, 7.8 rebounds and 2.0 assists per game.

Toppin is a versatile scorer. He can play above the rim and is a threat in transition. However, his strongest skill is his shooting. Toppin has drilled 31-of-80 (38.8 percent) of his 3-pointers this season and can catch fire in a hurry.

He has good length and has shown the ability to power through the defense. Toppin can be an instant offense factor for many NBA teams.

Of course, his stock will be directly affected by his performance in the tournament. If Toppin continues to ball out through March, he may place himself directly on the Warriors radar.
