The Golden State Warriors’ Saturday night home showdown with the Philadelphia 76ers is good to go as scheduled despite the virus outbreak.

The United States has gone into a panic over the coronavirus, but it hasn’t played a major factor in the daily activities of the Golden State Warriors or the bulk of companies yet. As for the NBA, they’ve taken measures to do their part, but they haven’t done anything too extreme yet.

The Warriors have also started to take precautions, but without a vaccine and this being a virus, the most you can do is seemingly steer clear of contact with others and make sure your stay germ free.

Well, that’s the type of precautions they’re taking. The team is packing in more health officials to decrease the potential spread of the virus. They are also giving additional options for fans to clean their hands throughout the arena.

That said, while there might have been some initial worry about games and whether or not they’ll take place, the Warriors game on Saturday at the Chase Center is good to go. They’ll be taking on the Philadelphia 76ers.

Originating in China, there have been numerous rumors spread about the virus, and the bulk of people are preparing for it to hit their area, clearing out local grocery stores of hand sanitizer and masks.

Overall, the virus has continued to spread, but it’s been a relatively slow process with a rather slow mortality rate. Obviously it’s not an ideal situation, but it doesn’t seem quite as serious as officials are making it out to be.

Then, again, I am not an expert on health concerns.

For at least the near future, it appears games for the Warriors will continue as scheduled, and with the virus still spreading, I’m sure they’ll be some updates on the team schedule if it continues to worsen.
