Stephen Curry is gearing up for a legendary chapter as he looks to carry the Golden State Warriors into the next era.

In an NBA Finals rematch versus the Toronto Raptors, Stephen Curry made his long-awaited return to the Golden State Warriors. The two-time MVP put up 23 points, 7 assists and 6 rebounds in just 27 minutes as the Dubs fell to the Raps 121-113.

Curry’s time on the court was limited and his team took the loss but this serves as a brief glimpse of what to expect for his next chapter. The Warriors are beginning a new dynasty and Curry will be the one leading the charge.

Although the franchise is likely to finish as the worst team in the league, the Dubs are expected to bounce back strong next season. The familiar trio of Curry, Klay Thompson and Draymond Green will take the floor alongside a group of new faces.

Players such as Andrew Wiggins, Eric Paschall and Marquese Chriss will help support the next generation of Warriors basketball. But, the team will only go as far as Curry takes them.

Curry has been on an exponential path to greatness since the 2012-13 NBA season. He has racked up a number of impressive accolades and is less than 500 total 3-pointers away from surpassing Ray Allen as the league’s all-time leader. It would be no surprise if Curry breaks this record sometime in the next two seasons.

However, Curry has already done enough to wear the crown as the best shooter to ever grace this earth. What is more important to Steph is winning another championship and capturing his first Finals MVP.

This will be a difficult task as the Dubs are boasting a very different roster than the one that helped them win in the past. Still, the talent is there and Curry has everything he needs to push the Warriors to greatness.
