The Golden State Warriors took their motto “Strength in Numbers” to a new level in their 118-114 win over the Philadelphia 76ers.

In an injury-plagued season, the Golden State Warriors have been tested more than ever before. Their depth has been on full display recently as big performances from multiple players aided in a victory over the Philadelphia 76ers.

Damion Lee led the way with 24 points and 6 assists. Lee sparked a late-game surge that helped the Warriors overcome a seven-point deficit with seven minutes remaining. This was just another example of Lee’s strong season thus far for the Dubs. In the 10 games leading up to this match, Lee had been averaging 15.7 points.

The Warriors also enjoyed a career-high night from G-League call up, Mychal Mulder. He dropped 18 points on 5-of-10 shooting, proving he can hang at the NBA level.

As for the rest of the squad, five other players scored in double-figures. Paschall poured in 23 points off the bench while Bender and Wiggins each chipped in with 10.

Rookie Jordan Poole continues to shine as he scored 10+ points for the 11th time in 12 games. He has been changing the trajectory of his otherwise tragic first season, looking like a solid rotational player now for the Dubs.

As the Warriors look to the end of the season, this has been an encouraging stretch of basketball. Plenty of players are beginning to step up and prove they have worth moving forward with the franchise.

The pursuit of another championship will be tough for the Warriors. They will need prolonged health from their best players. However, nothing will matter if there is not a solid supporting cast around stars such as Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson.

Strength in Numbers is more than a motto. It is the key to the Dubs success. Luckily, it seems they haven’t abandoned their championship culture.
