Pros

Let’s get straight to it. James Wiseman is the best defender in the 2020 NBA Draft class. No other player has his size or shot-blocking ability.

A true seven-footer, Wiseman is a towering athlete. He has extremely long arms and is a great jumper. He can rise up multiple times in the same play, frequently altering shots with his superb timing.

In his three games played for Memphis, Wiseman racked up a total of nine blocks for an average of three a game. He will quickly develop into a premier shot-blocker in the NBA and has the potential to anchor the Golden State Warriors defensively.

He is also excellent at using his size to box out opponents. Wiseman averaged 10.7 rebounds during his time in Memphis.

The Warriors would enjoy having a dominant big man for once. Wiseman has the potential to be a game-changer on the defensive end and would be a beast on the glass.
