The first-round prospect

Anthony Edwards. James Wiseman. LaMelo Ball.

Whoever they get with their projected No. 1 overall pick will have trade value. While it’s certainly not to the level of Zion Williamson or even Ja Morant, a player like James Wiseman coupled with other assets could return some of the NBA’s best players.

Of the three, Edwards has the highest ceiling given his athleticism while Wiseman will most likely be the best defenders and Ball may easily be the best overall playmaker. The choice will hard, but it will probably boil down to Wiseman or Edwards.

Either way, the future is bright if they keep or trade the pick. But, if the mindset is winning now, there’s no reason the Warriors should keep this pick. The risk for any of the three to bust is too high for them not to return an All-Star-caliber player if they can.
