Golden State Warriors may have a mere 15 wins, but they still have a handful of talented players that’ve shown potential and may earn another contract.

A once-powerful Golden State Warriors team has found themselves in a rut this 2019-2020 season.

Illness and injuries galore, this Warriors team has still been unlucky this season. Stephen Curry is just one example of one of the players plagued with the unfortunate circumstances of this season.

After missing more than four months due to a broken left hand, Curry has now fallen victim to the flu. After recently returning to the court, he as already missed the past two games. Another asset that has been missing from the Warriors this season is Klay Thompson.

In the 2019 NBA finals, Thompson tore his left ACL. Though his recovery is going well, and he recently started non-contact drills, there is no way Thompson will return to the court in the 2019-2020 season.

Though they do not want to rush his recovery in any way, Steve Kerr says he still may be an option for Team USA in the 2020 Tokyo Olympics.

With these powerhouse players out, the Warriors are fighting for this dreadful year to be over with. As they are braving this rough season though, Steve Kerr is starting to observe those stepping up to the plate and helping them overcome the adversity thrown at the Warriors this year.

The question is though, which newbie contributors have stepped up to the plate enough to keep a spot on the Warriors roster for the 2020-2021 season?
