Glenn Robinson III

The Golden State Warriors revived Glenn Robinson III.

Now, after being dealt, the forward is open to a return to the Bay Area this offseason. Basically, all that means is that there aren’t any harsh feelings between the two sides after Robinson was dealt at the trade deadline to the Philadelphia 76ers.

Robinson, who established himself as a premier threat offensively for Golden State, was set to become a free agent this coming offseason after signing a one-year veteran’s minimum deal this past offseason.

He’ll likely have a stronger market, but on a competitive team, he may not find too much more money unless he figures out a way to thrive in Philadelphia.

However, already knowing his skill set, it’d make sense for Golden State to bring him back. Shooting around 39% from downtown, Robinson did what was asked and oftentimes was guarding the opponent’s best player defensively.

He was an ideal addition to a contender; sadly, that’s just not who the Warriors were this time around. Next season, if Robinson returns, he’d get that wish to play on a true contender.
