Pros

As a freshman, Obi Toppin emerged as a talented scorer. After a redshirt season, Toppin averaged 14.4 points on 52.4 percent shooting from the 3-point line and a 66.6 percent clip overall.

He is capable of getting buckets inside and out. Toppin has a solid muscular frame and is able to beat smaller opponents to the rim. His explosive leaping ability has helped him create a number of highlight plays this season.

Toppin increased his scoring to 20.0 points per game and is still shooting effectively across the board. He is also a solid rebounder, grabbing over seven a game.

What makes Toppin so special is his potential as a shooter. He drilled 32-of-81 total 3-point attempts this season and is well on his way to becoming an efficient stretch four. At 6’9″, Toppin is a dream for modern-day NBA teams.

He is a perfect fit for the Golden State Warriors. Toppin will be able to space the floor and add an extra offensive weapon to the Dubs small-ball lineup.
