The Golden State Warriors may have the No. 1 pick in the upcoming NBA Draft, and Memphis center James Wiseman is the easy choice with the pick.

The Warriors’ 2019-2020 season may be quite a forgettable one, but that doesn’t mean the 2020-2021 has to be. Or, at the very least, as Warrior fans, let’s pray we don’t have to repeat this season next year.

It’s time to go back to the draft and gather some new potential that can come alongside Steph Curry and Klay Thompson once they are back in action.

They initially traded their 2020 first-round pick, but, due to one of the worst seasons in franchise history, they were able to retain it as they originally protected the asset dealt to Brooklyn, a deal that included both D’Angelo Russell and Kevin Durant.

It’s time to recreate the once dominate powerhouse that was once the Golden State Warriors, and James Wiseman may be the key to doing just that. Wiseman is a former Memphis star but played only three games.

That said, let’s dive into three reasons the Warriors should consider the 7-footer.
