Potential

James Wiseman’s potential is sky-high.

While he’s no Zion Williamson and some don’t even think he’s to the level that Ja Morant was, the Memphis standout does have the ability to change the game on both sides of the court. His field goal percentage in those mere three games says it all.

Wiseman is a beast within three feet both offensively and defensively. While his range may be concerning, Wiseman should be able to solidify his shooting while training to take his game to the next level.

He’s a terrific rim-running big, and with Stephen Curry to be in the pick-and-roll with, Wiseman should get easy buckets galore, but it’s truly defensively that Wiseman will flourish at the next level.

A lengthy, athletic center, analysts are hopeful for Wiseman to become one of the game’s best defenders. That’s where the bulk of his potential is found.
