Fit

The Golden State Warriors need a James Wiseman-like athlete on their roster. Always having a shortage in their frontcourt, the Warriors could use a consistent presence in the paint to fill out their defense.

While this season isn’t a great indicator of the Warriors’ roster, they are within the bottom half of the league in blocks per game. With a rotating array of starters at center, the Warriors really do need that stability that a consistent presence like Wiseman could bring.

Drafting No. 1 overall is typically less about fit and more about potential. Well, Wiseman is arguably the candidate with the highest ceiling, and he just so happens to be the quintessential fit on this three-point-shooting roster as well.

This upcoming draft will be an interesting one given all the talent, or by analysts the lack thereof. Either way, Wiseman is destined to be a top draft pick in the draft.
