Let’s try to look at the positives during this rough time for sports fans. The NBA’s suspended season will benefit the Golden State Warriors.

As I’m sure you all know, the NBA’s season is suspended until the danger of the coronavirus is resolved. This has been a tough time for many but it might be worth looking at the bright side. This extended break will benefit the Golden State Warriors.

The team has been ravaged by injury all season long. Klay Thompson has been sidelined with a torn ACL while Stephen Curry is nurturing damaged nerves in his hand. Meanwhile, Draymond Green has had numerous minor injuries as the toll of playing in five consecutive NBA Finals is finally adding up.

It’s safe to say that an extra-long summer will help to get everyone healthy. This is going to be vital for the Dubs core as they look to make a serious push for a fourth championship next season.

Hopefully, the team will be able to practice together soon. This will allow them to build chemistry before the next season officially begins. It’s uncertain how the league will choose to move forward with the remainder of this season and the proceeding one but it seems like the Warriors will have an extended break at some point as they have already been eliminated from the playoffs.

We also have to wait to find out how the NBA Draft will unfold. With March Madness being canceled and the 2019-20 NBA season still unfinished, it’s unclear when or how the draft will take place.

All we know is that the Dubs will continue to follow any necessary precautions as the world looks to overcome this pandemic. Once this is all over, the Warriors will be thankful for the extra time off to recuperate and plan another dynasty run.
