The Golden State Warriors are setting their eyes on James Wiseman in our second edition of the 2020 NBA Mock Draft.

The 2020 NBA Draft is going to be difficult for every team as there seems to be no clear-cut No. 1 pick and all of the top prospects had their seasons cut short. For the Golden State Warriors, this draft will be pivotal.

This is the first time since 2012 that the Dubs were set to select in the lottery. Sitting in the last place of the Western Conference, the Warriors are in a three-way tie for the best odds to win the 2020 NBA Draft Lottery.

Unlike the years passed, the top pick does not seem to be very valuable. It is going to require some blind luck to draft an elite player as it’s nearly impossible to accurately judge this class right now and it’s possible that teams won’t even be able to host individual workouts for prospects due to the COVID-19 outbreak.

Anyways, we can still speculate and do our best with the sample size we’ve been given. Using Tankathon.com‘s draft simulation, we will make picks for all 14 lottery teams.
