Scouting Report. Pick Analysis. F. player. 66. Florida State. Devin Vassell. 10

The 2019-20 NBA season was bittersweet for the Phoenix Suns. After a red hot start, playoff hopes were eventually crushed when the team fell into a slump later in the year.

However, the Suns still saw glimpses of success and this should be enough of a reason to continue pushing forward with the rebuild. The main goal should be finding suitable players to pair with Deandre Ayton and Devin Booker.

Devin Vassell could be the answer. A skilled shooter, Vassell drilled 44-of-106 attempts from deep as a freshman for Flordia State. He could thrive as a catch-and-shoot player in the Sun’s offense.

Vassell also appears to be a decent defender and playmaker. If he is able to put it all together, he can be a reliable rotational piece for the Suns.
