The Golden State Warriors are going to be making a push for the NBA Finals next season. They already have a strong core of Stephen Curry, Klay Thompson, Andrew Wiggins and Draymond Green. Now, they can add a defensive presence to lock down the paint.

James Wiseman was the top prospect in the country heading into his freshman season with Memphis. Although a controversy held him back from playing in more than three games, Wiseman posted strong numbers of 19.7 points, 10.7 rebounds and 3.0 blocks per game.

Wiseman would have an easy job with the Warriors. He will thrive with the team as long as he rebounds the ball and protects the rim. The Warriors won’t rely on Wiseman to do too much other than play to his strengths. This should be a recipe for success.
