F. Obi Toppin. 6. player. Pick Analysis. 64. Dayton. Scouting Report

Obi Toppin broke out as a star last season for Dayton and has only gotten better. He has improved in nearly every statistic and led Dayton to a 29-2 record before the season was halted.

The Detroit Pistons recently hit the reset button by trading away Andre Drummond. The next step will be finding a suitable building block and Toppin might be a good starting point.

At 22 years of age, Toppin doesn’t have as much potential as other prospects. However, his skill set is already established and he can help the franchise become more competitive almost immediately.

Toppin will likely never be an All-Star but he can be a good first step towards rebuilding for Detroit.
