2020 first-round draft pick

After initially trading their first-round pick to the Brooklyn Nets in a deal involving Kevin Durant, the Warriors were destined to not be picking within the top-30 picks yet again in the 2020 NBA Draft.

Well, their struggle this season has brought that pick back. Thankfully, they protected the pick. It was top-20 protected, and as the Warriors are the worst team in the league, it’s easily coming back to the Bay Area.

The Warriors will have the option to trade that pick.

If they aren’t sold on top prospects like James Wiseman or Anthony Edwards, they could deal it for future picks or a superstar like Joel Embiid or Giannis Antetokounmpo (if they could somehow give Milwaukee enough to part ways with him)
