A healthy Stephen Curry

In the Warriors’ fourth game of the season, Stephen Curry barreled into Aron Baynes, a center for the Phoenix Suns. Curry awkwardly landed on his left wrist and was eventually diagnosed with a broken left hand.

Curry’s health and play has changed the team’s season.

By himself, Curry could carry a team to the Western Conference playoffs. While they have been the low-hanging fruit with the eighth seed, help could’ve been on its way had the Warriors survived that far.

A two-time MVP, at one point in his career, Curry was averaging over 30 points per game.

While his scoring has decreased his impact on the game has remained the same. Returning just a few games prior to the suspension, Curry’s help was a little too late as the damage has already been done.

Plagued with injuries throughout his career, had Curry, a player the Warriors have seen dominate the court for a decade, been on the court there’s no denying this team would be in playoff contention.
