A healthy Klay Thompson

Again, this season could’ve been far different.

It was injuries that truly derailed the Warriors from a sixth attempt at the NBA Finals. While the competition is more fierce in the West this season, a healthy Curry and Thompson would’ve had Golden State competing with the best of the best.

Thompson is a five-time All-Star and widely considered one of the best two-way players in the league. His ability to compliment Stephen Curry along with his elite off-ball movement make him quintessential to the team’s typical game plan.

Had Thompson not torn his ACL, this season, and the last game in the 2019 NBA Finals, would’ve been completely different. However, he is on pace to come back just as strong next season after missing all of the 2019-20 season.
