Al Horford

The Golden State Warriors struggle with depth in the frontcourt.

Kevon Looney has been injured for a good bit of the season and the team decided to deal Willie Cauley-Stein to Dallas for a second-round pick. With a few centers on the roster, their frontcourt will be a point of concern this offseason.

Similarly, the Philadelphia 76ers have struggled to get the same type of production from their frontcourt this season.

The addition of Al Horford this past offseason was supposed to create a formidable duo that’d wreak havoc on the East. It has not played out that way, and the team should be looking to find a new home for Horford who signed a very player-friendly deal this past offseason.

Wiggins who also isn’t on a great contract could easily be replaced by Anthony Edwards, who the team could draft with their first-round pick. Horford could play alongside Green and give that size and rim protection that the team needs.

Looney and Wiggins for Horford and a first-round pick seem to be a win-win for the Sixers and Warriors.
