The Golden State Warriors will be among the three teams with the best odds at the No. 1 overall pick. But, who would they take if granted that top spot?

There’s no denying this season has been tough for the Golden State Warriors. They are 15-50. The worst team in the league by record, the Warriors are the NBA’s only organization already eliminated from playoff contention.

With the league currently suspended due to the coronavirus pandemic, there has yet to be publicized talk about moving the late-Jane draft back. The draft will be the next big move for Golden State barring any unforeseen trades which appear unlikely.

If it stays on its current date, which also seems unlikely, the Warriors will have just under three months to prepare and scout. Without the NBA Combine, a pre-draft activity that will likely be canceled, front office directors may not get the best look at athletes before the draft.

For Golden State, they’ve already shown a lack of interest in center James Wiseman and point guard LaMelo Ball, two of the top prospects in the upcoming 2020 NBA Draft. Those two won’t make the first rendition of our big board, which ranks the top-three prospects.

Using NBAdraft.net to help predict where players are currently projected to land, we assume the Warriors hit a home run with the ping pong ball and select first in the 2020 NBA Draft. That said, let’s breakdown their top-three options.
